Fitzjohn's receieved circa £16,400 in catch-up funding during 2020-2021. 

The monies were used to fund an additional teacher who worked primarily with children in Y3 and Y4 but did work with other classes.

The teacher worked with whole classes (to free up the class teacher), individuals and groups. 

The teacher focused on the core skills in literacy and numercy.

The success of the catch-up funding will be based on the short, medium and longer term attainment on the children targeted. We will track and assess using teacher asessments and standardised tests.
